A massive gust of wind blew across Blaze and the other members of the Seiga who stood by and waited to have a clear view as to what was hidden in the veil of ice which Blaze had just melted, what was kept locked away and why. Thought the wind was cold, Blaze remained warm, tightly gripping to his Bankai meanwhile the surrounding members of the Seiga pinched every opening on their cloaks shut and held firmly against the bitter wind. Blaze saw a chance, possibly the best one judging by the weight of spiritual pressure coming from the source of the cold wind and shroud of dust…ice dust.
Dashing forward Blaze gripped with both hands onto Kewashii Jigoku and let the long blade trail behind his body to his side. Running on an angle, Blaze saw the silhouette of a body, as Blaze drew closer it was almost as if a force of energy was pushing him back. Blaze felt as if he were treading through thick snow or water up to knee height. Flames ignited around the massive crimson blade, the glow from such a fire as Blaze began to swing at the man was bright enough Blaze saw a glimpse of his enemy’s eyes… such a light shade of blue. Putting incredible effort into his swing, Blaze felt his Bankai strike steel and the force of both blades colliding sent all shrouding dust and debris outwards to offer a clear view of both warriors locked in battle. A sandal appeared right before Blaze and struck his right forearm which dropped his arm ever so slightly, the weight of Kewashii Jigoku now only held in Blaze’s left hand. Before he could ever process what had happened; Blaze found a drop in air filling into his lungs, only small gasps of cold then warm air. One hand tightly held Blaze Kagayaku’s left hand right at his wrist and stopped from moving his Bankai in any direction while another placed around his neck in a vicious grasp that almost stopped any air flow to his lungs.
“I highly doubt this is the being able to melt away Eterno ice…”
The man speaking, the man before Blaze who held him in such a helpless position had long bright blue hair, long enough that it almost hid his left eye from being seen in the open. Both eye a light shade of blue, identical to his hair color. Running from behind the veil of his hair, identical horns ran down this man’s jaw line before stopping at his chin. Blaze Kagayaku already knew by the presence this man was an Arrancar, his hollow hole on the right side of his chest, along the rim of his hole was faintly visible veins as if his hollow hole were extremely cold.
Blaze’s eyes drifted over to Yuki who walked up towards the two and sheathing an unfamiliar blade that Blaze had not seen up to this point.
“Lord Korren, your blade that you dug into the ground when…” Yuki glared at Blaze almost as if he were disgusted, Blaze had ruined his formal welcoming to this Arrancar. “When you blocked this baka’s attack” Yuki finished and held up in both hands a zanpakuto, the hilt was dark blue and had a striped pattern along the grip. The guard of this zanpakuto is a steel triangle with a pattern to resemble that the metal was frosted. In a flash, Korren released his grasp on both Blaze’s wrist and his neck but just as he was letting go and allowing air to rush into Blaze Kagayaku’s struggling lungs; Korren smashed his knee into Blaze’s side which dropped his body to his knees while never letting go of Kewashii Jigoku with his left hand. “Nnngh” moaned Blaze as he clutched his side with his right arm and took a deep breath in, air burning his lungs as if it were his own flames.
The Arrancar known as Korren grabbed his zanpakuto from Yuki and weaved it into his fabric belt along his long white pants. Blaze spat to the ground before looking up to Korren and Yuki, Korren wore no shirt just his pants and white sandals to match. “You… you’re the leader of this group? The Seiga?! The mind all behind fooling myself , Yamamoto and using my flames to melt… whatever you were locked in!” angrily Blaze asked, barraging Korren with questions. Blaze used his left arm and blade impaled into the ground to push himself up to his feet and rip his blade back up out from the sands, dropping to the frosted sands and resting, Blaze’s Bankai melting away any of the frost on the ground that remained close to his resting blade.
“The Seiga… never heard of it” Korren replied to leave everyone in an awkward silence once he turned his back to Blaze and began walking away to the group of other Seiga members. (He…doesn’t know the group I created in his honor) Yuki said in thought, sighing while he felt such embarrassment. “Lord Korren, What should we do with Blaze Kagayaku now that you are freed?” Yuki started a light jog to catch up to Korren and his group of men. As Korren stopped halfway in the middle of the cloaked men he turned his head back and looked to Blaze who just stood idle with his Bankai in hand. Korren took his hands and slowly slid them into his pockets, relaxed and calm he narrowed his eyes.
“I have much doubt in the fact that he would be any problem to me or get in my way… Thank you man who’s flames were hot enough , you’re no longer of use” Korren turned his head away from Blaze again and continued walking past the group, to where he was heading no one knew but they all began to follow… all except for two of the cloaked Seiga members. “What is your plan now Lord Korren?” Yuki asked with a tone of joy, anxious to hear what his superior had in store. Not even bringing a glance to Yuki; Korren took a deep breath in. “This air is so nice, a warrior out there is strong enough to contend with the likes of myself… I plan on finding him, you…Seiga was it? Can follow under my power like I had promised you all”.
Far behind Yuki, Korren, and 2 other cloaked Seiga members was Blaze Kagayaku who couldn’t follow the group, stuck behind with 2 members of the Seiga in front of his way in whom he had to deal with first. Blaze watched as Korren, Yuki and his other men vanished over a hill of white sand and out of his line of sight. One of the men who stayed behind to fight against Blaze began to walk around a circumference of Blaze, side stepping and circling him;
“I’m gunna enjoy hurt’n ya here boy, feeling your bones crumbles when I slice you up, payback’s a bitch and Imma make you cry like one” The one man spoke out and pulled back his hood. Zephyr continued to circle Blaze with his cloak ripped off to once again show his black army boots smashing into the thawing sand before him. Zephyr in his torn and burnt trench coat pushed his long and messy black hair from his face…. His red eyes and blood stained teeth stared to Blaze in his eyes as if a shark were stuck in a gaze with its prey.
“You missed the heat of my flame did you?” Blaze with his one hand flung his Bankai out to his side and arched it up to point upwards, only to fall down on his shoulder and rest upon his shoulder. “To tell you both the truth, I feel like an idiot tonight… fooled by someone I had just began to trust and now possibly-”
Zephyr’s blade emitted a flash and was already lunging towards Blaze before he could continue with a confession. Falling onto his back and pushing back upwards Blaze dodged the lunge but only just in time to raise his blade upwards and strike against Zephyr’s unstable swing. This lock of strength gave Blaze time to overlook Zephyr’s blade. The actual blade itself was rusted completely yet still held up against Kewashii, the hilt and guard had short studded spikes that poked out in certain areas which had to not be comfortable on the hands;
“My shikai; Sabita Joo is only just getting started!” Zephyr yelled and grinned, his jaw moving about and doing what he usually did in such a grotesque manner.. Zephyr began biting on his tongue again and again. Blaze leaned forward with his foot and landed a powerful kick against Zephyr’s torso which gave Blaze the room and time to grab Kewashii Jigoku with a tight grip. “KISAI KOTO!” Blaze roared. With both hands he swung Kewashii Jigoku towards Zephyr and a wave of flames erupted off of the crimson steel, pouring outwards with remarkable speed and completely consuming towards Zephyr.
“As you continue to strike against my Shikai-” Zephyr began, Blaze watching as some parts of his blade began to look more…shiny. “The concealment of my rust will part with my blade, a suppresser releasing my destructive power!!!” Zephyr yelled and laughed wickedly.
Blaze’s wave of flames wiped across Zephyr and struck his blade head-on. Zephyr’s rust peeled almost all completely off his blade with the mass of flames that continued to rage against his blade. “Do you know anything about suppressed power Blaze Kagayaku?! It’s the power which longs to be given a chance to stretch it’s legs, it develops a monstrous lust within it’s confinement for a chance to be used, upon what? That doesn’t matter to such a power…” Zephyr laughed once against and spat his bloodied spit towards Blaze Kagayaku’s flames that continuously raged against his blade. Zephyr who held his blade against Kewashii Jigoku flames waiting for the flames to vanish now felt a hand on his shoulder, it gripped Zephyr with a powerful clench that Zephyr felt as if a bone was on the verge of splitting under such pressure. Blaze walked in front of Zephyr who held his blade as flames still poured against his sword’s defense. “As long as I remain in proper concentration, Kewashii Jigoku burns from my Spiritual energy…. Nothing more, so If you are wondering, this flame is not constantly coming towards you and leaving… It never moved” Blaze grabbed Zephyr’s right hand and ripped it off his shikai’s handle, the weight of Kisai Koto flames washing against Zephyr’s blade began to wobble his hand, only one hand holding against a large mass of strong flames.
His eyes widened, Zephyr stared at Blaze who’s pupils began to fade into the color of his eyes… they began to almost turn pitch black again. “Trust me Zephyr; you don’t even know concealed monsters like I do”. After saying such, Blaze brought up his free hand and Kewashii Jigoku to smash downward against Zephyr’s shikai and drop it to the ground, dropping his only defense. Blaze watched as his flames carried away Zephyr in a blast of a fiery tidal wave. Zephyr yelled in agony as he struck the ground, rolling all around on the ground helpless to put out the flames that tortured his body with heat. Blaze felt no reasoning, his body growing this numbing feeling.
“You heard him… let me stretch my legs” Blaze heard the dark flames in his head, the conscious of his destruction and Kewashii Furea’s counterpart. These men are going to kill you… You won’t have to remember one thing… Blaze Kagayaku release your will to me
With his right hand Blaze ran his fingers up into his hair, putting pressure on the right side of his scalp, he mumbled to himself. Blaze had lost concentration and the flames that singed Zephyr’s body had stopped. Still yelling in pain Zephyr remained on the ground squirming… not able to stand just yet. A loud noise rang out before the numbing feeling left Blaze’s body, he felt a cold sensation in his lower right torso; looking down Blaze saw blood starting to trickle down his waist as it dyed his clothing. After turning around Blaze saw the other man who stayed back with Zephyr, his hood still up over his face but his right arm stretched to his Blaze’s direction, smoke coming from what appeared to be the barrel of a gun.
“This moment… I’ve looked upon this moment for a while Blaze Kagayaku, ever since that night!” The man yelled, firing 3 more shots of this blue light that penetrated right through Blaze’s stomach, without any strength in his core… Blaze collapsed to the sand. Slowly tilting his head up to see the man pull of his hood, Blaze’s vision was too blurry to make out the man but he could see silver hair and damage that had been done to this man’s face.
“This is for Kogeta Kagayaku, your father!” The man who Blaze couldn’t make out yelled, Blaze noticed another man come to stand beside this one, judging by the steam coming from his body it was Zephyr who made it up to his feet now. “Do it Huroka, you’re one of us now…we give you this opportunity now fella, ain’t we generous! Especially when I should make him a statue for me with a certain Bankai of mine”.
Blaze felt as if he could remember this name if he was to truly take time and recollect his thoughts, yet he could only watch and slowly reach for his Bankai but it was too far down near his waist and he couldn’t move his stomach to the side. Blaze watched as yet another man in cloak appeared behind both Zephyr and the man known as Huroka. Not one cloaked member but a second one… then a third cloaked member re-appeared. Blaze felt his body in agony and fell into an unconscious state yet again.
“Ain’t that just like Blaze, tries and tries but I still bet I could kick his ass” the one cloaked man spoke out; his height was much taller than both Huroka or Zephyr and absolutely more muscular than both the men. Startled, both Zephyr and Huroka flash stepped backwards and away from Blaze to be surprised that these three other men they never sensed a presence from them. “Who are you three?” Zephyr demanded, his shikai pointed up side down as a powerful wave of energy washed outwards from his shikai… he was preparing to use Bankai.
“Hahaha! Did you two feel a breeze?” The man on the far left laughed at Zephyr preparing his Bankai. “Look, I don’t know what quarrel you two have with Blaze Kagayaku” The man in the middle spoke now this time. “But I suggest you leave if you value your lives, if you don’t leave we kill you… if you do leave, when he wakes up he may or may not come seeking your throats himself” The man in the middle who appeared to be the leader finished, offering the choices to both Zephyr and Huroka as he saw fit.
Huroka stayed quiet and aware of the situation but Zephyr who was chewing on his tongue spat at the ground and brought up his hand to each of them, as a gesture of rebellious acts and anger he gave the trio a thumb down. “You ain’t gunna breathe inna second, you bastards took a wrong turn at the sand hill!” Zephyr replied and took his stance, preparing to fight these men.
“Guess they don’t value their life … or that one doesn’t huh?” The shorter man asked, his height was average towards both Huroka and Zephyr but he raised his head and the light reflected off his glasses. The large man on the left began to walk forward to Blaze, he knelt down and put his hand on his shoulder. “Isn’t it kinda funny, we meet him just as we left him be last time… eh Helen?”
I...I thought.... they were dead!
Or gone for good at least... Anyway, EPIC chapter!
Thanks bud I'm glad you enjoyed it
I really did. At this point I wished it was Kibo and the others finding Blaze, but I do remember these 3 saying something about a favour they owed Blaze...That's if I'm not mistaken.
good story. but zephyr taking on the power of a bankai with his shikai
me think; he should've been ashes the moment the flames clashed against him
